Restoration Project

A piece created with WWF-Canada and Katzie First Nation, documenting restoration efforts in the Lower Fraser and the ongoing work to support ecological recovery and Indigenous stewardship.

Created in collaboration with WWF-Canada and Katzie First Nation, this piece documents restoration work taking place in the Lower Fraser, with a focus on long-term ecological recovery and Indigenous stewardship.

Filmed on location, the approach centred on capturing both the landscape and the people involved in the work, allowing the story to unfold through a combination of observational footage and interview-driven perspectives. Care was taken to ensure the piece reflected the knowledge, priorities, and voice of the community, rather than imposing an external narrative.

The result is a grounded and respectful portrayal of restoration in progress, highlighting not only the environmental impact of the work, but the importance of partnership, stewardship, and long-term commitment to the land.
